You may not need another course. Or another book. Or another person telling you to believe in yourself.

You may need someone who can see the work with you. Someone who can help you recognize what is getting in the way, find the shape of what you’re making, and stay beside you long enough for it to become real.

This is four months of close, one-on-one work for people who are ready to create themselves alive.

Bring me the unfinished manuscript. The business that no longer fits. The idea that has followed you for years. The creative practice you’ve lost contact with. The decision you keep circling. The life that wants something more from you.

It doesn’t need to be perfectly formed. It only needs to matter enough that you’re ready to stop postponing it.

This is a sustained accompaniment through the uncertain, practical, exhilarating, and sometimes uncomfortable work of bringing something into the world.

Here is some of what we may explore

i.

Your Origin Story

Who modeled the making, for better or worse. Who warned you off it. What you picked up along the way that was never actually yours to carry in the first place.

ii.

The True Work

The gap between the version you’re willing to show and the version underneath it. The thing that is calling to you, that you know wants to be born through you.

iii.

Craft

The making itself. New work. Technique. The hours, actually spent, at the actual desk.

iv.

Your Architecture

The pattern that’s ended your last three projects before you started this next one differently. Naming it early enough to do something about it this time.

v.

The Business of Art

Structure that serves the work instead of quietly eating it.

vi.

Your Eco-System

We look at your relationships and the context for what gets made. This is about nourishing your inner life, to keep you motivated and moving.

Creativity Direction + Mentorship

This isn’t therapy.

And it isn’t friendship, though at times it may carry some of the honesty and intimacy of both.

It is a container for the specific work of becoming the person who can make the thing.

The work moves between strategic coaching and philosophic depth — the practical and the underneath-it-all, held together.

For twenty years, in one form or another, I have accompanied hundreds of people through this territory. They have finished novels, films, poetry collections, albums, and businesses. They have changed careers, rebuilt relationships, recovered abandoned parts of themselves, and made consequential decisions about how they want to spend their one life.

But the point isn’t simply to leave with something finished.

The deeper work is to build a new relationship with your own creativity, one rooted in attention, courage, practice, and trust. To stop waiting for another version of you to arrive and begin creating with the life that is already here.

What this work has made possible

I finished my novel. I don’t know what else to say. That’s a major accomplishment.

Randy — Author

The growth I experienced in the time I worked with Rainier was exponential. It took me into a new dimension. I also went back to graduate school, started a business, and fell in love with my self—my REAL self. Everyone should do this work with this man.

Shannon K — Helping Professional

Rainier’s mentorship transformed me as a coach. He modeled the kind of connection that I longed to embody. His insights and efforts gave me the edge with clients and in my personal life. I’ve shown up more fully and as who I really am. I can’t say enough about this work!

Victoria B — Life Coach

Working with Rainier is the most real, vulnerable, and authentic work I have ever done. It is an experience of total enlightenment. I could not be more grateful.

Sean G — Corporate Executive

The deepest work I have ever engaged in. I experienced more freedom in my time with Rainier than I have in any previous dynamics—as a psychologist, that’s saying something. I can’t imagine a more powerful container.

John H — Psychologist

I just finished working with Rainier. Man is a genius. I used to have such an aversion to working with mentors. Thought I had all the answers. Thought I had it all figured out. Turns out having someone guide you through the process and support you makes everything so much easier.

Joel S — Fitness Coach

I just finished an in-depth program with Rainier. He challenged me on all levels and I’ll be honest—I leveled up… My life has changed and continues to change as a result of his coaching. If you’re feeling stuck in life or feeling the desire to live more fully, take the leap and work with him.

Ryan W — Executive Chef

This isn’t a form so much as the start of a conversation. The questions build on each other — answer honestly, and take your time with each one before moving to the next.

Step 1 of 9

Let’s begin with who you are.

Where I can see the work.

The material itself.

Where it’s caught.

What’s the gap between where you are and where you want to be?

What’s already been tried.

What did you try, and what happened?

The timing.

What makes this the right time? And why did you choose me?

The horizon.

The shape of the commitment.
